Dark Chess Tournament is a chess game that introduces the intriguing "Fog of War" element, offering players a unique variant with limited information.

The "Fog of War" feature hides rival armies from view, revealing enemy units only when in close proximity to one square around friendly units or within striking distance. This mechanic introduces a significant level of unpredictability and strategic scouting, elevating the game's tactical depth.

In this game, the objective is not to checkmate the opponent's king but to capture it. Players are allowed to make moves that put their king in check, providing an extra layer of complexity where such mistakes could lead to decisive outcomes.

Tournaments are accessible worldwide but are unavailable in specific states: AZ, AR, CT, DE, LA, MT, SC, SD, and TN. However, players residing outside prize-enabled regions can still enjoy the game using virtual currency.
